Accommodation Description: We are Jersey’s first youth hostel! A £2.25m refurbishment has transformed the former Victorian school and orphanage into a 100-bed youth hostel, located on the island’s east coastal with views towards France and looking over Mont Orgueil Castle. The building is famous to millions as the office of British Television detective Jim Bergerac! We offer 2, 4, 6 and 6+ bedded rooms. Meals offered include breakfast and evening meals. Walking, cycling, clean beach / seaes and bird watching are all offered to people visiting the island of Jersey. In WWII it was the only part of Great Britain to be occupied near the Nazis. Day trips to France are as well offered. Jersey has superb beach / seaes and countryside along with an extensive network of walking and cycling routes, it really does offer something for everyone. Accommodation Description: The Bay View is a family run visitor house situated in a very popular suburb of St Helier known as Havre Des Pas. It is acro the road from a sheltered sandy beach / sea and the public Lido (open air pool and cafeteria) yet only a 10 minute walk into the town center. Good sized rooms - single, twin, double and family - are offered, mostly en-suite, centrally heated, with Television, warmth tray, hairdryers, and many with Refrigerator and microwave. Some have trouser pre es, and all have high standards of comfort. There is a relaxing Television lounge with a selection of videos, books and games, a residents’ bar with Sky Television, and front and rear groundss for you to unwind. There is as well a good selection of restaurants in the vicinity. We as well provide fantastic home cooked breakfasts. Jersey has something for everyone, from Neolithic tombs, medieval castles and award winning museums to highlights with state of the art exhibitions, natural splendour and history and skilled craftsmanship. Jersey is as well an Island of festivals and events with the highlights of the year being The Battle of Flowers in August and the International Air Display in September.
