Jungle Safari Lodge is located at the edge of the Rapti River. It is situated 45 few minutes away from the town of Tandi and only 5 few minutes away from the park and its headquarters.At present, Jungle Safari Lodge offers two types of accommodation, very relaxing cottages spread over a large vicinity with well-maintained lawns, walkways and a grounds full of flowers and plants and a building consisting of all-luxury rooms with air-conditioning, sky tv, direct dialling teletelephone and en suite bathroom with 24 hours hot and cold shower. . A separate dining room serves scrumptious Nepalese and continental cuisine. This dining hall is a handy place for our visitors to meet and share their joy and happine . The Park Nepal's first and most famous national park is located in the central development region covering an vicinity of 932 sq. km. This park includes hilly vicinitys of the Silwalik range covered near deciduous sal forest and carpeted with gra , savannah and riverine vegetation. The park, made up of the flood plains of the Narayani, Rapti and Reu rivers, is home to more than 450 endangered Asian one-horned rhinoceros and harbours one of the largest population of the elusive and rare Royal Bengal tiger. Besides rhinos and tigers there are four species of deer, leopards, langurs, sloth bears, wild boars, rhesus monkeys, wild dogs, white stocking gaurs and many other littleer animals. Gharial and Marsh mugger crocodiles cavort in the river water. The individual birds which number over 450 species, include cormorants, egrets, stork, geese, jungle fowl, king fishers and endangered species such as Bengal florician, Le er florician, Brahmin, duck, pintails, Indian pitta and parakeets.
