Family run independent hostel just 10 few minutes walk from Canterbury's renown cathedral and historic town center. Popular with visitors since Roman times! Set in a 120 year old town house, Kipps offers a 'chilled out' and homely ambience with a selection of rooms from singles to eight bedded dorms, which includes doubles, triples & quadruple rooms. If we are full there is constantly room in the grounds for two or three tents (summer only). amenities include: - Fully equipped kitchen. - little on-site shop. - In house web access acce . - safety deposit - Fully heated and hot water all day! - Television lounge with video/dvd players and a selection of films. - Laundry and drying amenities. - Free left luggage facility. - Towel rent. All visitors are supplied with sheets & pillotoiletases. - Barbeque - grounds with hammocks and open fire. - New Conservatory for dining up to 20 visitors. - bike rent - Book exchange - RECEPTION OPEN BETWEEN 0730 AND 2300HRS (0800 AND 2300HRS ON SATURDAYS, SUNDAYS AND PUBLIC HOLIDAYS). - No curfew as visitors' room keys open both front and rear doors. - No lock out- visitors can stay in the hostel all day! - No membership required! - We as well have single & double personal rooms - Photo ID required (pa port or driver's licence)
