The early 20th century building is a versatile hotel, well suited to the budget conscious traveller. Fully equipped hotel business rooms are offered in single, double or twin. Hostel rooms are offered single, twin/double and dorms sleeping up to 6 people. Many of the Hostel rooms have en suite bathrooms. All of the highlights of the CBD are within walking distance - shops, restaurants, theatres, night clubs, the Casino and Sky Tower and the Viaduct Basin. Some car-parking is offered, and there taxi and bus stops at the gate. There is a hostel kitchen and common-room, and there is a reasonably priced bar on site. Other highlights include gaming machines, a pool table and Travel Desk. There is an web access cafe at the end of the driveway. A key deposit of NZ$20 cash is required on check-in.
