Accommodation Description: This is a four storey ‘shophouse’ situated just a 5 minute walk from the Sarawak Tourism info center, the post office, the waterfront, the museum and other facilities. This B&B is run near a husband and wife with vast knowledge of Sarawak culture. We only started operating February 2004. In our accommodation we have a Television lounge, a resting and reading corner, a tropical grounds and a well equipped kitchen with Refrigerator, toaster, plates and gla es. We as well offer various tours at a very realistic rates. we as well provide in-house traditional tattoing which was the cheapest in town with a good artists and good traditional/tribal design. we as well provide home cook (iban traditional dishes chicken bamboo) subject to charge.. more >>

As avid art appreciators and owners of an art gallery, we attempt to infuse Singgahsana with our touch of Sarawak Style. Our visitors will know that they are in exotic Sarawak, Malaysian Borneo when they awake each morning to a room filled with individual local decor. Artefacts collected from the 30 or more ethnic tribes of Sarawak adorn each room and common vicinity. Even the ubiquitous lamps of your room have been cleverly made out of utilitarian baskets and the floor covered with rattan and bark mats. Travel photographs decorate each wall bringing sweet memories of the many destinations we have or should travel to. Regular travels abroad have made us appreciate our home even more. Sarawak's great diversity both in its peoples and its natural world makes it totally individual. But above all these, our Bornean home is exceptionally special because of its ‘sickeningly’ warm warmth as aptly put near a friend and regular visitor to Sarawak.
