So central!! We are situated right in the middle of Old Montreal in a renewed 200 year old historic house. The hostel has wooden beams, 2 foot thick stone walls, old style windows, etc. The top floor has a little living room with a cathedral ceiling and bay windows. We are within walking distance from the old port park, the town centre, museums, restaurants, etc. There are two bathrooms with showers in the house. Families are welcome! Sounds from the street can be overheard during the day: street musicians, people clapping hands and walking along St-Paul, horse carriages, etc. There are as well huge striking maple trees behind our building. PLEASE BE AWARE that during the weekend, visitors in the rooms facing the street (Ancolie, Campanule and Trille) may be annoyed near the noise coming from the bars acro the street. During the week however, it is calm and quiet for the most part. Please read the following before choosing your room: We have lovely littleer sized rooms as well as roomy ones. Please choose accordingly. IF YOU RESERVE A 2 BEDS personal ROOM (TWIN), YOU WILL GET A ROOM WITH ONE DOUBLE BED. IF YOU RESERVE A ROOM WITH 4 BEDS, YOU WILL GET A ROOM WITH 2 DOUBLE BEDS. THE ROOMS ONLY HAVE DOUBLE BED(S). Not all the rooms are provided with air conditionning. Call us if you want to make special arrangements such as adding an air mattre . ABOUT THE DORM ROOMS: If you reserve a 2 BED SHARED ROOM, it is in actuality not a double occupancy dorm room but a vast loft with 12 beds... it has a cathedral ceiling and FRESH AIR CONDITIONING! There are fabric divisions attached to wood beams so each occupant gets their own personal space, girls on one side, guys on the other and mixed in the middle. Each person has an air matre on the floor. Enjoy a cosy and warm ambiance, FREE continental BRUNCH EVERY MORNING and coffee and tea anytime! There is as well free acce to 2 COMPUTERS and WIRELE HIGH SPEED web access connection offered to anybody at no extra charge. Local telephone Calls are free and we have an answering machine.
