The Lake-Side-Lodge wishes you a very warm welcome to our snug hostel right in the middle of striking Switzerland! Lake Side Lodge, Faulensee, Switzerland is the ideal place for groups and individuals who wish to stay nearby the striking Lake Thun and Bernese Oberland. This is the ideal starting point for a wide selection of things to do. There are 2, 4, 6 and 12 person rooms, and a 32-bed dorm, with a total of 80 beds. The Lake-Side-Lodge offers you an outstanding panorama view of the striking Lake Thun in the quiet town of Faulensee. It is located 100 meters from the lake, 500 meters from the rail station, 2km from Spiez, 10km from Thun and just 10km away from Interlaken. Faulensee offers 4 speciality restaurants with lakeside terraces and superb fish meals. We provide advice on biking and hilking and walking tours into the Bernese Oberland in the very middle of Switzerland. Bike-hireal and biking/hilking and walking-maps are offered. The lodge is as well ideal for climbing, paragliding, sailing or ski trips. A large, healthy breakfast is served as is a super-buffet. There is as well a kitchen for your own cooking. Other amenities include our own sports field and a superb lounge with web access, table-soccer, pool, pinball, che and a library for you to use. There is a laundry service offered with a tumble dryer. We provide a free shuttle-service from/to Spiez rail station.
