For a warm welcome with a private touch, Le Manche is a striking newly renewed Savoyard Farmhouse with old world charm set in the mountain bliss of the Haute Savoie, in the middle of the Bauges Natural Park nearby the shores at the south end of Lake Annecy, the cleanest lake in Europe. Rooms are clean, large and relaxing and can be organised to your preference. All rooms have splendid views and some have a terrace. For paragliding, Le Manche is only 20 few minutes away from many of the popular sites such as Planfait and Forclaz and an English BHPA-CFI instructor/guide can be provided for groups on request. For the more adventurous, we are at the middle of the mountain bliss. Many things to do are on your doorstep, a cycle piste from Annecy to AlberTelevisionille is just 2 mins away, canyoning, fishing lake is 5 mins walk away, golf, mountaineering and horseriding to name but a few. located just south of the lake at 650 meters above sea level there are stunning views from all the windows and balconies as well as splendid views of the take off and landing sites at Marlens. situated on the edge of a forest, it is refreshing to open the window in the morning and breathe in the fresh mountain air. Alongside the house is an old working basin with fresh running water and as well a Plunge Pool in the grounds. Run near a French speaking English family with many years experience in hotel and catering we aim to cater for all your needs. We are centrally situated for all the various sports in the region and easily acce ible to the striking old town of Annecy, a jewel of a town steeped in French culture and civilisation. There are year round festivals and marketplaces in Annecy and the local villages, and the Olympic town of AlberTelevisionille. We are as well only few minutes away from the most famous high mountain ski resorts of Crest Voland, Megeve and Grand Bornand. Evening meas wellf traditional or international cuisine are offered on request at Euros20 for a 3 course meal with wine and coffee. Please confirm if you would like meals on arrival when reservation.
