Artsy with lots of common space and a huge yard, Le Sous-bois is a hostel in an open space BIG WINDOWS AND LOTS OF PLANTS. We just installed air conditioning. It is not a heavy-duty-freeze-everything machine but it does cut the humidity and drops the temperature of a few degrees on hot days. Le Sous-bois is pronounced like Le SOOBWA and it means the vicinity under the dense forest. We just finished a funny kitchen, pleasant café vicinity, the wirele web access, the voIP telephones offered for you (free long distance in North America!), the coffee machines, the 6 showers, the toilet / wcs, and so on. Every space is semi-personal, with a large bed and curtain to close. All non-smoking, even in the yard. No curfew. This place has been opened for three months and everything is thought to make you have an outstanding and relaxing stay. Everybody says it is the BEST HOSTEL THEY EVER STAYED AT, and there is a guitar and drums for the musicians. Don't mi it, come and see us, we are very excited to meet with you! Dear couples, we know it is hard to travel and stay in bunk beds all the time because you can't afford a personal room. So we have a mezzanine for you with double beds and there is curtains around each spot, very pleasant! So when you make your booking, write a C before your name so we know we can put you there and you will be all set! And if you want a personal room, you can constantly take a caravan: personal cabin builted in the yard, very cute! Look at the picture, it is not inclusively finished but it gives you an idea. So this is what you will get if you reserve a personal room with no en suite. Otherwise, you can reserve at Le Guilleret, the inn just beside, it has personal rooms with personal bathrooms, but the prices are higher... Your welcoming comitee, Naima, Marc, the little Coralie (1 year old!), Pierre-Luc and Amélie. PS: Thank you for being sensitive with the fact that we go to sleep at night. We give service 24h, but if it is po ible, we prefer to answer your questions and make bookings during the day!
