Lledr House HOSTEL Dolwyddelan Description
Lledr House was the first Youth Hostel in North Wales and has been running for over 50 years under the YHA! newly changing ownership in late 2001, the hostel is now owned and operated near the Quilter family as a personal hostel on a littleer more private scale. inclusively renewed over the last three years we now feature a large dormatory room for up to 9 people, twin rooms, and family rooms. We aim to keep visitors as personal as po ible, and can offer personal rooms for your own group without having to share (where po ible). We as well feature a double bedded room! The hostel is self catering with a seperate kitchen and dining room for the visitors. Nestled in the Snowdonia National Park we are surrounded near woodlands and mountains in every direction. The Lledr river runs through the front of the property along our riverside grounds and we have personal fishing rights directly opposite the house. We are only few minutes away from Betws-y-Coed a well known back-packers town. This would be the base for guided walks in the vicinity, hikes up the world famous Mount Snowdon, or simply a striking place to site see or shop! There is ample parking at the hostel. We have amenities for campers on the grounds with outside toilet / wcs, and downstairs showers in the main house. Lledr House is open year round, and welcomes our repeat visitors. Come to North Wales and enjoy a more private holiday in this striking vicinity with us at Lledr House. We are sorry we cannot accept credit/switch cards at this establishment. Cash or cheques are welcome! For larger groups who wish to have guided things to do (Mountain biking, canoeing, guided hikes, rock climbing), we can make arrangements through local instructors for you.
