Lonsdale Lodge was inclusively refurbished in April 2004 and relaxing rooms and welcoming service is our aim. We have mainly double and family rooms all of which are en-suite. A four poster bedroom is as well offered. All rooms have full central heating with coffee/tea making facilities in bed rooms. Breakfast is offered at additional cost, please advise on arrival, but we are a short walk from several cafes and resturants if required. The vicinity a few miles drive takes you into rolling E ex countryside or the exciting West End nightclubs, shops and the world famous tourist highlights of London. Our local Wanstead Village with its historic green has a tranquil ambience, vibrant bistros and nice restaurants. The pretty woods, boating lakes and ponds of Whipps Cro & Wanstead Ffats are just acro the road. The local town of Ilford is well known for the Exchange Shopping center, striking Valentines Park, Wanstead Leisure center, Fairlop Sailing center and the Golf Course. We are on the edge of the Greenbelt landscape. Several conservation vicinitys are nearbynear which includes historic Epping Forest and picturesque English Heritage E ex villages.
