Lucn Bouda is the highest located mountain hostel in the Czech Republic, it is 1410m above the sea-level. You have a view over the highest peak of the Giant Mountains (Krkono e) - the Sn ka mountain (1610m). Its history can be traced back to the 16th century, when in the World War II it was rebuilt near the Nazi Wermacht to rail soldiers for the arctic condition. The carefully protected vicinity of Krkono e National Park offers visitors a striking natural world with a lot of endemic species. Right in front of the house is the spring of the White Elbe and as well a large mo meadow which is the spring of the pa River. You can make exciting trips on the mountain ranges and enjoy outstanding views, especially seeing the sunrise from the top of the Sn ka Mountain. In the winter you can go skiing as the Czech Main Ski-center Pec pod Sn kou with ski-tows is just 8km downhill.
