welcoming home hostel and group bunkhouses, situated close to Manchester United Football Ground, Old Trafford Cricket Ground, The Lowry center, The Imperial War Museum and The Trafford Shopping center. 2 miles to town center and Universities. Short walk to town center buses, Stretford Metrotram station and Chorlton Village. The bunkhouses are situated within a few few minutes walk of the Old Trafford stadiums and the BackPackers Hostel is situated in a lovely Victorian terraced house looking over striking Longford Park. A five minute walk acro the park leads to the Mersey Valley and The Trans-Pennine Way (a cycle, riding & walking trail leading from Liverpool to Hull). Longford Park was the home of John Ryland, Manchester's first cotton millionaire. The hostel was formerly the home of his son William Ryland. The Hostel can accommodate 12 to 16 visitors in dorm, family and twin/double rooms. Some rooms have t.v/radio and en suite amenities. The Bunkhouses accommodate up to 10 visitors in each house.
