We are situated in downtown Ro land, British Columbia, a 7 and a half hour drive from Vancouver and Calgary, and just few minutes away from world famous Red Mountain Resorts. Ro land itself is famous for the deep gold deposits exploreed in the crater of an historic volcano here in 1890, as well as for being the home of the 1992 Winter Olympics. The two mountains towering over Ro land ( Red and Granite) offer some of the best runs for both hard-core and intermediate skiers/boarders, made up of pure natural Kootenay powder, 2900 vertical feet, over 1200 acres of skiable terrain and a cheap lift ticket. The hostel is a 3 minute drive from the main lifts and few minutes away from heaps of Bike trails.
