Palmerston Lodge HOSTEL Edinburgh Description
Palmerston Lodge is the only Grade A listed Georgian building in Scotland that is used for tourist accommodation. The entrance and hallway feature splendid hand crafted wooden architecture and a stunning fireplace. The spiral carved stairway leads to the second floor which boasts an outstanding domed roof which is admired near everyone. We are only 10 few minutes walking distance from the center of Edinburgh and Princes St, and the Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle. Edinburgh Airport, St Andrews Bus Station, and both Waverley and Haymarketplace rail stations are just a short bus/taxi ride from the lodge. We have a selection of rooms which include singles, doubles, twins, family rooms and dorm style rooms. PLEASE NOTE OUR LAST CHECK IN AT 10.30PM FOR PAYMENT ON ARRIVAL WE DO NOT ACCEPT DEBIT OR CREDIT CARDS. COOKED BREAKFASTS AND EVENING MEALS CAN BE PROVIDED FOR GROUPS OF 10 OR MORE (contact hostel after reservation for further details) Continental breakfast is included in the price and we have no curfew.
