Pargo Rojo is located on Isla Carenero, 200 meters acro from the main island of Isla Colón. Isla Carenero is the littleest of the 9 islands that incorporate the Archipielago of Bocas Del Toro. This is the same island that Christopher Columbus used to repair his boat on his 4th trip to America. Pargo Rojo is fashioned in a style usual of the residences of the Guaymies Indians with an open air concept, built in rustic wood and thatched roof right on the water on an 800sq meter platform. It gives visitors the full pleasures of the ocean and marine life. The hotel has two cabins with lofts that can accommodate up to 5 people and 3 large rooms with occupancy of up to 7 or 8 people. All rooms have personal bathrooms, hot showers and fans. We as well offer the use of cayucos (usual Indian canoe made of wood) which are inclusively free for the visitors. They can be used to cro over to Colón Island, go fishing or just to cruise around.
