The Pousada S tio dos Tucanos is the first ecological inn in Santa Catarina. It is situated in the most splendid and well-preserved region in south Brazil. We are on the south side of the Island Santa Catarina, 30 km from downtown Florianópolis. This part of the island is well known because it is offers an ecological tourism experience with it's striking scenery and things to do; such as Lagoinha de Leste (municipal natural park), trekking through vast rain forests, birdwatching, whalewatching (July - October). The Pousada is open all year and visitors are received with affectionate attention near the owner, Gerta May. We speak German, English and Portuguese.
