BRAND NEW LODGE! Purple Palms Travel Lodge is clean and welcoming and a great place to recharge after your flight. We offer a FREE AIRPORT PICK UP AND DROP OFF, and if you spend one night here and one night at North South backpackers Lodge in Pretoria we'll even take you to Pretoria for FREE. We have a book exchange, Television room with sky Television video player and an ever expanding range of films, large sub tropical grounds and on-site travel center. Plus we have a fast (ADSL) web access connection offered for a little fee. Plus, it's clean and relaxing. The nearbyest supermarketplace, bottle store (off license) and chemist (pharmacy), and ATM are 200 meters away and just 1km away is a large shopping center, with everything else you need. Rooms we have two en suite double rooms, one en suite twin room, a double not en suite but with a Television, a three bed room which can be booked personally or is used as a girls dorm. Plus an 8 bed en suite dorm room. We are a pick up point for most Kruger safaris ( and if not we'll take you to the pick up point). Plus we can get free drop off at the lodge for car rent and even organise a free drop in Cape town. Our travel center has great free advice and we can book accommodation in Kruger National Park, as well as open vehicle safaris, walking safaris, and budget camping safaris and a range of day tours around Gauteng which includes Pialnesberg National park, Sun town, Soweto, Apartheid museum, Gold Reef town, Ndebele Village, lesedi cultural village, Rhino and Lion Park and Sterkfontein Caves. Day tours in the vicinity include Soweto, Apartheid Museum, Pilanesberg National Park, Ndebele Village, Lesedi cultural village, Cullinan diamond Mine, Rhino & lion Park, Pretoria town, Johannesburg town, Mamelodi township, De Wildt cheetah center. Plus we can easily organise transfers to local shopping centers or curio marketplaces
