We offer relaxing, delightful, clean and economical warmth in a superb position close to all downtown Ottawa has to offer. located in the Golden Triangle bounded near lively Elgin St. and a bend in the Rideau Canal, we have a south view onto a pretty, shady park acro Frank St. from our sunny front porch. Frank St. and the park provide a tranquil retreat in the middle of all the hustle of our busy capital town. Just steps away at the end of our block are numerous fine restaurants, cafes, Starbucks and the Museum of natural world. Our house was renewed in the 1970's adding all of today's up to date facilities while retaining the proportions and grandeur of a century home. Rideau Inn is intimate with only seven bed rooms, two with personal, en-suite baths, all with in-room teletelephones. visitors have the exclusive use of the large ground floor living room, porch, dining room and sunny roof deck. Our individual, air conditioned bed rooms are furnished with antiques, and some have personal baths, sun porches or a fireplace. visitors have lots of space to enjoy in the visitor living room, verandah, dining room, equipped kitchen and personal roof deck. We offer economical rates and discounts for students, YHA members and longer stays. Included are free newspapers, magazines, breakfast, e-mail acce , luggage storage and more.
