Sarah visitor House was established in 1988 (run near the same owner/manager) and is recommended in the main guide books - The Rough Guide, Footprint, Frommer's, Let's Go and many others. We are located in a quiet position in the center of Chiang Mai, a 3 minute walk from the Night Bazaar and Tap Gate. Our central position means that all the main highlights in the town are within walking distance. However we are situated in a little lane off the main road so that even though it's in the middle of town, it is quiet and quiet. The visitorhouse provides clean & safe accommodation for the budget traveller. There are 12 rooms - 3 A/C and 9 fan. All have their own personal bathroom with hot shower. Please note we are not a hotel and do not charge hotel prices , so we do not have services such as a swimming pool, teletelephone, Television etc. The price structure per room is as follows: 400Bt/room for a twin A/C room and 250Bt/room for a twin fan room. Each room has its own personal bathroom with hot shower. If your reservation is 125Bt /person then this will be a fan room. If you would like to request A/C please put in a direct request to change (depends on availability). There are daily treks offered for 1-3 days for those that want see the nearby countryside and experience hilking and walking, elephant riding and rafting. Thai cookery courses are as well offered every day. We are fully registered according to the regulations set down near the Tourism Authority of Thailand and the Thai Government, for both tours and accommodation. Only a few of the little scale visitorhouses are registered. The visitor house is under Thai/English management providing clean & safe budget accommodation in one of the best positions in Chiang Mai.
