The Isle of Skye is the place to come to escape the stre es of town life. It's so bli fully quiet here that the only thing that disturbs the peace is the occasional crying seagull (and maybe a drunk local or two!). The most remarkable thing about Skye is that it is an island of mountains. The Cuillin Mountains are incredibly dramatic and rugged, so don’t forget your camera! And bring your walking boots - this is a bliss for walkers. Skye Backpackers is in Kyleakin, and overlooks the village square. It's a little snug hostel with an open fire in the lounge and a lovely grounds out the back. Our dorm rooms have relaxing beds with clean fitted sheets and we as well have a couple of double rooms.
