Accommodation Description: Manta Lodge, situated at the northeastern corner of the island in the sleepy fishing village of Speyside, is nestled on the fringe of the Mountain Rain Forest, the oldest rainforest preserve in the Western Hemisphere. Embellished in old world Caribbean elegance, the property is little but still features all the 'big' facilities - the Green Moray Bar and Restaurant, a soft sandy beach / sea with loungers, full service dive shop, freshwater swimming pool, beach / sea towels, hilking and walking trails and lots of places to unwind! The lodge is set on the beach / sea front and has 22 bed rooms. Each room has a veranda with breathtaking Atlantic Ocean views and a choice of ceiling fan or quiet split-unit air conditioning. All include en-suite and have a daily maid service. This serene and relaxing setting is the backdrop to a host of things to do which includes diving, hilking and walking, bird watching, snorkeling, reef tours and fishing. Or you can forget all of this to soak up the ambience while taking a swim in the sea. Fine dining is an important part of Manta Lodge with breakfast, lunch and super served daily in the Green Moray Restaurant and Bar, giving you the opportunity to try some of the exciting local dishes on offer.
