Accommodation Description: Kustleden in Stromsbruk, in the province of Halsingland, Sweden is a destination providing overnight accommodation and café, bike and canoe hireals, as well as a shop and a gallery. The hostel is situated in the one-time office building and archives of the former Stromsbruk mill. The historic building, initially constructed in 1912, is strikingly located in a park setting with the southern of the two Holm Lakes and the Harmanger River only steps away. Art, quality crafts, books and outdoor equipment are some products offered for sale. The ambience is unwinding and relaxing. It's hard to believe one is only few minutes from the E4, some 20kms north of the striking summer town of Hudiksvall and le than 70kms south of the bustling town of Sundsvall. The individual Halsingland coastalline offers superb swimming, as well as exciting sightseeing tours on foot, near bike, canoe or near car. Sports fishing, summer auctions, marketplaces and fairs, summer theatre and other fun things to do are constantly in the vicinity. Both lake and sea beach / seaes are offered within walking distance, the northern wilderne is just around the corner and historic old fishing villages are close enough for exploring near bike. Acce to a self-contained kitchen is one convenience if you'd rather make your own snacks. If not, we do serve breakfast and light meals throughout the day. Some rooms come with their own sinks but the bathrooms are all in the hall. Prices are hostel prices with your own choice of services. If you've packed your own sheets and towels we won't make you pay for ours.
