There are 32 tall pillars which are remnant of a colonial era villa of the 1800s still standing at Casuarina Inn and they add to the splendour of the quiet and serene ambience. The inn is situated nearby to Malaysia's first highland resort, Maxwell Hill, and is as well in close proximity to the rustic town center. Fringing the Casuarina Inn is the well known Taiping Lake groundss and Taiping Zoo which are destinations for animal life, lush greenery and picturesque lakeside features. There is as well a waterfall, wading streams and rainforest reserves nearbynear. Each room at the Casuarina Inn can accommodate 2-4 persons.
