Welcome to Mexico. Welcome to Cancun. Welcome to the Nest. The Nest. Only 400 meters from the bus station. One block from Tulum Avenue, Canc n main street. One block from Yaxchilan Ave., with all its restaurants and night spots. And one block from Palapas Park, the town’s middle. Fresh fruit for breakfast every morning, along with fresh bread and steaming hot coffee and tea. Hot showers and laundry. And every 7th night at the Nest (whether in Cancun or Merida or both) is constantly free. The amenities. The Nest was designed for backpackers, to make sure that everything you want and need is waiting for you. The Front grounds: Flowers and shrubs. A unwinding place for people-watching. Tables to unwind and talk, to enjoy your breakfast or a cold beer at twilight. The Lounge: relaxing sofas. Cable Television. Tables for games or good talk with good friends. NestNet: The web access café with high-speed acce , exclusively for the use of Nestvisitors. Hufflepu ff , the dorm reserved for women only. Four bunk beds and air-conditioning. Dumbledore, a very relaxing personal room with one double bed, air-conditioning and personal bath. Slytherin , a tiny, cosy personal room with one double bed, personal bath, and a ceiling fan that will blow your socks off. Ravenclaw , a mixed dorm with four bunks and air-conditioning. Gryffindor , the big dorm, with 12 bunks, a bunch of very effective fans and an en suite bathroom. Hagrid’s grounds : A personal and walled grounds for sun-bathing or star-gazing. The Pool . Next door to the Nest is a personal Olympic pool. Nestvisitors can use it during certain hours for a very little entrance fee. The Merida Nest. If your travel plans include Merida as well as Cancun, be sure to plan to stay at the Merida Nest, one of the top-rated backpackers hostel in the Americas. Remember that every 7th night at the Nests is free, and you can combine your stays at both Nests to earn the free night.
