The Eagles HOSTEL Betws-y-Coed Description
The Eagles is a traditional inn providing real ales,(Good Beer Guide 2004) and a very welcoming ambience; a ideal setting for unwinding after a hard day in the hills. Our accommodation is basic but relaxing and forms the top floors within The Eagles. We have six rooms each sleeping 4 and two rooms sleeping 2. All rooms are centrally heated and have tea/coffee making amenities. Duvets, pillows and sheets are supplied. There are two separate showers, a bathroom and two wash-rooms/toilet / wcs. A self catering kitchen is offered for your use. Breakfast is offered at an extra charge. Surrounded near mountain scenery the hostel lies on the edge of the quiet village of Penmachno, in a secluded valley 4 miles south of Betws-y-coed at the middle of the Snowdonia National Park. Snowdon itself is about 15 miles away. This is perfect accommodation for groups or individuals walking, climbing, cycling or canoeing - but as well ideal for a budget family break.
