The Purple House International Backpackers' Hostel is the only hostel situated in the third largest town in Panama, David town. David town is a handy stopping point on your way to Costa Rica, or Bocas del Toro. You can easily make day trips to Boquete and Cerro Punta. The Purple House opened on February 15th, 2002. It has all the services that you could wish for in a hostel. We offer shared (dorms with 4 or 6 beds) and personal rooms (1 room with personal bath for 2 people (double bed) or (1 room with airconditioning for 2 or 3 people). Free web access acce , free coffee and tea all day, free use of our fully equipped kitchen (we include salt, pepper, sugar, and oregano, oil & vinegar), free use of our living room with cable Television, stereo, VCR with films on tape, free book exchange, reference guide books, outside vicinity for smokers, hammocks, cheap laundry service, cheap international telephoneCalls, international travelers ambience, special local discounts on bus fares and tours.
