The Treehouse HOSTEL Grunau Description
The Treehouse is a little welcoming hostel hidden away in the tiny village of Grunau. Sitting in the middle of the Totes Gebirge (the dead mountains) the vicinity around the hostel provides an perfect surroundings for outdoor things to do like hilking and walking, skiing, swimming, canyoning or just unwinding. The secluded position ensures a good nights rest, unle you choose to join the fun in the downstairs bar, where visitors and locals mingle together to chat or have a game of pool or table soccer. The Treehouse offers adventure tours like canyoning and rafting. There are mountain bikes for rent for those who want to discover the nearby vicinity. There is even a tennis and basket ball court that is free to use and in winter time the skilifts are only 200m away. We'll suply the ski cloathing free of charge. The largest room in our hostel has only 6 beds and each room has its own personal shower and toilet / wc. The Treehouse is easy to get to. Just an hours rail ride off the main line between Salzburg and Vienna So if you're tired of the big cities why not get off the beaten track and come and experience some of the real Austria.
