Trinity College, Dublin, is one of the oldest universities in the British Isles, and the oldest in Ireland. Founded in 1592 near Queen Elizabeth 1st, the College is in an enviable position in the very middle of Ireland's capital. One of the leading visitor highlights, the Book of Kells is housed on the campus, and Trinity itself is within walking distance of shops, other main visitor highlights, theatres, cinemas, museums and libraries. Standing on a self contained site, the College itself covers some 35 acres of cobbled squares and green spaces surrounded near buildings which represent the accumulated architectural riches of nearbyly three centuries. Our prime town center position means we are adjacent to Grafton Street and Temple Bar. Sample Dublin's individual ambience & stroll back to your accommodation. During the summer vacation between the middle of June and the end of September the College opens up its 800 residential rooms on the town center campus for visitors. The accommodation offered within the campus reflects the various architectural periods through which the College has been in existence. The rooms range from older traditional student style accommodation in buildings of character, right up to up to date buildings where the rooms have personal bathroom amenities. The varying styles of accommodation ensure that there is something suitable for all tastes and budgets. We offer serviced rooms with various room types from single rooms to 6 bed apartments - mainly en suite. We have a bar, restaurant and shop on site. The accommodation is offered from June-September inclusive. Reception and porterage is offered from 7.30am to midnight daily.
