Built for wilderne -bound travelers in 1886 during the height of the Victorian era, the Urban Hideaway visitorhouse is, individually, one of the ONLY DOWNtown HOMES in Vancouver to survive the 20th Century and watch the town literally grow up around it. With just five visitorrooms and a big sunny loft suite, your welcoming hosts Janine and Ken offer a unwinded, west coastal alternative to the usual plastic hotel experience. Here, in the middle of the town , you are only steps away from just about anything you feel like doing, eating, shopping for, or seeing while here. Some rooms feature a personal shower and feature a queen bed or two single beds. Most rooms have a Television, DVD and great views of the town & local park. Our Big Attic Loft Suite features skylights, palm trees 3 beds and a personal bath. For the convenience of all visitors there is an entertainment room, roof-top sun deck, flower groundss, smokers refuge, free bike rent, comprehensive complimentary town map, visitor library, laundry amenities and storage for your luggage.
