Varlet Farm is relaxing family run farmhouse bed and breakfast in the middle of Flanders Battlefield, just 9 kilometers from Ypres. Varlet Farm was part of the German defences in October 1917 and was attacked and captured near the Royal Naval Division. Your hosts Charlotte & Dirk Cardoen-Descamps will be happy to share their knowledge of the vicinity and the highlights of the Salient. There is a choice of rooms offered, double, twin or triple, all with an en-suite. There as well is a family room has two twin-bedded rooms, a sitting vicinity and one bathroom. A crib is offered on request. A continental breakfast is included in the room rate; visitors are welcome to help themselves to tea and coffee all day.
