We have a popular village position in the middle of the Lake District surrounded near high level ridge and fell walks. Take your children to Butharlyp Howe and test their energy levels. The hostel, a traditional Lakeland Victorian house, has extensive grounds with a safe play vicinity for children and plenty of outdoor games equipment. Staff at the hostel can help you book a wide range of outdoor things to do which includes watersports, climbing, orienteering, cycling and fishing. It goes without saying that there’s walking galore, which includes high-level ridge and fell routes. Our place is great for families who enjoy a range of outdoor things to do. We have four 2, eight 4, two 5, two 6, one 8 and one 10 bedded rooms. Meals offered include breakfast, picnic lunch and evening meal. Evening meals are served from 18.45 hrs to 19.30 hrs. YHA Grasmere Butharlyp Howe is part of the Youth Hostel A ociation and membership of this organisation or the International Youth Hostel Federation is required. It can be purchased on arrival.
