Zapato Amarillo (Yellow Shoe) is a little chalet with a gra roof and wooden interior embedded into countryside of extraordinary splendour. Our family-run lodge offers two and three bed rooms, a fully equipped community kitchen, washer/dryer and bike and canoe hireal and web access acce . There is as well a well-maintained library of English, German, French and Spanish books and journals. Our backpacker lodge is the ideal place to either chill out after an exhausting expedition to Patagonia, or to fuel up before a difficult trail to the mountains (Osorno Volcano) or further south. The picturesque town of Puerto Octay is located in a protected bay on the north shore of Lake Llanquihue. It boasts outstanding views of Calbuco, Osorno and Puntiagudo volcanoes. The nearbys transform from the rolling green hills nearby the lakes, through to the lush rainforests of the Andes. This striking surroundings as well provides opportunities for many outdoor things to do.
