Under two hours from both Glasgow and Edinburgh it is a superb base for your Scottish holiday of a short break. The cuisine, served in the delightful restaurant, is superb, with local venison and salmon often on offer on our daily changing restaurant menu. A fine wine list complements the locally sourced produce, suppers are as well available in our cocktail bar. Boasting fantastic facilities the hotel is perfectly suited to the traveller in need of a tranquil base. Our well stocked bar has a log fire, and a delightful resident's lounge. In the summer, speciality highland Victorian cream teas are served on the hotel's lawns. A combination of generous opening times and realistic tariff allow for an pleasurable break all year round. For that special occasion we can organize both conferences and weddings. Thank you for your booking, which has been secured on your credit card. As you may know a five course daily changing super menu is offered in our restaurant. The menu is set near the chef early in the day, to accommodate the reservations we have at that time, it is therefore not possible to fit extra diners in on the day.
