The striking Cathedral town of Canterbury, a must for all visitors, with numerous shops and tourist highlights alike is only twelve miles up the road. The grounds Lodge is a very relaxing family home. Our striking garden has aviaries, a fish pond and a mosaic tiled solar heated swimming swimming pool with steps for easy access. (only offered in summer months) Our restaurant uses home grown vegetables and free range eggs from our own chickens and ducks. All our cakes and pastries are home-made daily, and during the summer we as well serve scrumptious traditional Kentish cream teas in the garden near the pool. Traditional Sunday Lunch is constantly available in our striking dining room and on the patio - when reservation please let us know as it is open to non-residents and can be very busy. We are within easy reach of internationally recognised equestrian centre, Lydden Motor Racing Circuit, golf courses, zoological parks, momentous castles, sports facilities, recognised walks, cycle routes and a multitude of gardens. Why not extend your stay to a minimum of 3 nights and then receive a day trip as a foot passenger with SEAFRANCE with our compliments.Date, and prefered times of outward and return journey must be stated on original reservation form. ***VERY handy FOR DOVER CRUISE TERMINAL*** GUARANTEED personal PARKING.
