The Empress Hotel commands a prime position on the Victorian promenade looking over Douglas Bay on the Isle of Man. A large conservatory spanning the entire length of the front of the hotel provides the perfect place to relax, unwind and take in the panoramic sea views over Douglas Bay and the headlands. The modern Piano Bar lounge with seating for up to 130 persons is a focal point of the Hotel providing a superb social meeting vicinity for coffee and drinks. A spiral staircase winds down to La Brasserie Restaurant, serving a wide selection of dishes which includes the old favourites amongst the more exquisite. The restaurant provides a standard of cuisine unrivalled on the Island and is renown for its quality food and superb service. The health & leisure minded patrons can enjoy use of our gym, swimming pool, sauna and steam rooms situated on the lower ground floor. The Empress provides a choice of two purpose built flexible conference suites. The Prince Albert Suite can accommodate up to 180 conference delegates and is perfectly suited to product launches, training courses and wedding receptions. For smaller gatherings the Connaught suite is the ideal alternative with space for up to 60 delegates. In addition, syndicate rooms and breakout coffee and dining facility layouts can be arranged. Both Conference suites can be set up with equipment and decoration to your requirements.
