Located on 27 acres nearby the rain forest, and what is now a world heritage site, Stonefield Estate Villa Resort is approximately five miles from Saint Lucia Airport. On the grounds are Arawak Indian rock carvings from around 350 AD. As Saint Lucia was colonized, Stonefield became a prosperous cocoa plantation. Some of the buildings on the grounds, which includes Cocoa Villa, are from this period. The property's facilities include the swimming pool, Mango Tree Restaurant, and Bamboo Bar. The resorts provides shuttles to two nearby coastal beaches and easy access to Saint Lucia's natural wonders, which includes a drive-in volcano, waterfalls, rainforests, scuba and snorkeling, boating, horseback riding, and many other activities.
