Doma is an original boutique hotel, a fully renewed mansion, decorated with Cretan objects and photographs from the passed century. The hotel is hosted in a neoclassical building of the beginning of the 19th century. Originally it hosted the Austrian Consulate. It is situated in the town with an extraordinary view of the Gulf of Chania and within walking distance of the Venetian harbour. It has been a hotel for the last 30 years. Today, it has been fully renovated. It is well-known for its warmth, friendly ambience and Greek hospitality. Prominent politicians and artists have chosen Doma for their vacations in Chania. On the third floor, the dining room and the bar overlook the bay. On the ground floor, in the vicinity of a little bar, there is a rare collection of headdresses from all over the world, in particular from the Middle and Far East and Central Asia.
