The extra confort rooms are larger than the standard ones, some of them are provided with sofa, balcony and are situated to the Chiavari castle view with its garden or to the typical medieval centre of Chiavari. Room service is available during all the day, you can wake up in the morning and enjoy your breakfast served in your private balcony or, from April to October, in the solarium terrace.

The Chef, Roberto Dal Seno, will present a series of creative recipes made up by him through his 20 years of experience accumulated in this field. The course defines itself creative for the tastes but at the same time is classical in the techniques of cooking and minimal for time employed to make the dishes. There is an extensive use of aromatic herbs, spices, sprouts and vegetables to serve with starters, entrees, and second courses with meat and fish, in a Course that will give new ideas for your way of cooking for guests and friends. This course runs October 24-25-26-27, 2006 from 730pm to 1130 pm. Cost is 180.00 Euros all inclusive. INTRODUCTORY COURSE. Hotel Monte Rosa, with the collaboration of their specialty shop SOLOCOSEBUONE, will organize its first Introductory Cooking Course. The goal of this course is to teach you the operational aspect, in fact, the recipes programmed in each session will be carried out directly by the persons enroled. Slicing fish, preparation of a vegetable julienne or pan made foods, are the ABCs of the activities to teach in this course. Under the careful guidance of the chef you will become new cooks, having fun and tasting the dishes of your work. The recipes include starters, entrees and second course foods and the ingredients will be accordingly selected at the nearby local markets and to season. Once the techniques are assimilated through the teachings, you will be able to easily reproduce them at your home. The course is divided into 2 classes of 10 lessons, the first basic and the next advanced. THE ADVANCED COURSE is a natural continuation of the first but it has been divided to stop for Christmas pause and give the opportunity to finish once cycle for those who feel satisfied of the level reached. As customary during our courses, we will distribute support material of the recipes and a CD with photos of the finished dishes. With the possibility to enrol even once course has initiated, Basic Course is 350.00 Euros Advanced Course is 400.00 Euros. Basic Course runs every Monday from 730 pm to 1130pm from October 2nd to Dec. 4th , 2006. Advanced Course runs every Monday from 730 pm to 1130 pm from Jam 8th to March 12th, 2007.
