In addition, customized hilking and walking information and tips for where to take the best photos are happily offered upon request. situated at the south entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park (a 3/4 mile walk to the visitor's center)and only 1 1/2 miles west of the centre of Estes Park, you are close to premier hilking and walking and wildlife, as well as the opportunity to visit individual shops in town. Grand views of 8 peaks over 12000' high are enjoyed from Alpine Trail Ridge Inn. Sixteen rooms have personal balconies for your private viewing delight while enjoying your first cup of coffee in the morning or star-gazing at night. All 48 rooms are non-smoking, the property is pet-free and parking is offered at the doors of all but seven rooms. newly remodeled in 2003, each room provides free high-speed wireless web access access, a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, telephone, remote control color cable TV, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, air conditioner and natural gas heater. For your enjoyment, there is a heated (84 degrees), outdoor pool, open May 20 to September 15. Two hard-wired computers and printers are offered in the office for visitor use, along with copier & fax machine. The Sundeck Restaurant, on property, specializes in Fresh Trout and Prime Rib, and is frequented near locals as well as guests, due to the quality of the food and service. patrons at Alpine Trail Ridge Inn comment daily about the comfort of their rooms and how pleased they are with their stay. Nbr of suites - 1 nbr of non-smoking rooms - 48 nbr of rooms for physically-challenged guests - 2 it is important to realize that alpine trail ridge inn is not a fancy condo property. it is an older mid-range family motel with a restaurant on property. the staff is constantly upgrading and improving our rooms, and we receive daily compliments from guests about how nice the rooms are and especially about the cleanliness. all rooms are non-smoking and no pets on property. there are three basic types of rooms western, standard and balcony. the western rooms are in our center building. they have knotty pine wainscoting on the walls, and are more of a cabin feeling. they are our most economical rooms, with either one queen or two doubles in each room. the standard rooms are the ground floor rooms in our front and back buildings. they have either one king or two queen beds, and there are two partially handicap accessible rooms with two double beds. the view from the standard rooms is to the south towards twin sisters. the balcony rooms are the upper story of each building, and each room has a private balcony with two chairs. they have the best views of the mountains to the south towards twin sisters and to the west of the front range of rocky mountain national park. these two buildings are partially set into the ground, so there are only 5 steps leading up to the balcony rooms. there is 1 kitchen family unit located in the center building. it has two bedrooms, one with two doubles and one with one double, two full bathrooms, a living room and kitchen. we also have a heated outdoor pool, open may 15 to september 15, weather permitt is heated to 84 degrees. there is an outdoor patio where up to 25 guests can gather. a1k - mountain view max occupancy - 2 max nbr of rollaways - 0 room description - balcony room with one pillowtop king bed, mini-refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, ac, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, color cable tv, free wireless internet.
