Sitting on 10 acres on the highest point in the Abacos, Bluff House beach / sea Hotel is approximately three miles from the momentous village of New Plymouth and four miles from Treasure Cay International Airport. This position is as well three miles from Albert Lowe Museum and New Plymouth Sculpture grounds and 25 miles from Marsh Harbour International Airport. Bluff House was built in the 1950s as a personal home with British colonial overtones; it was later converted to the first hotel in the Out Islands. Hotel facilities include the private beach / sea (with hammocks strung between palm trees), freshwater swimming pool, tennis court, and watersport equipment and rentals offered at Brendal*s Dive Shop situated one mile away from the resort. Breakfast and super are served in the main Club House specializing in gourmet dining with a reservation, there is a bar/lounge in the hotel*s main building with views across Green Turtle Cay, and the Jolly Roger Bistro which provides both indoor, air conditioned dining and water front deck dining serves breakfast, lunch , and dinner. On Tuesday nights, during season, super is served as part of an elaborate beachfront barbecue that*s accompanied near music from a live local band. The hotel as well offers babysitting. All rooms feature balconies or terraces, hairdryers, and air-conditioning. There are no phones in the rooms. The price includes the property*s resort fee.
