The 17-story Waikiki Gateway Hotel is approximately a 10-minute walk through Fort DeRussy Park to Waikiki beach / sea and eight miles from Honolulu International Airport. This position is where Kalakaua Avenue branches off to form Kuhio Avenue, within walking distance of central Waikiki. Hotel facilities include the gift shop, laundry facilities, and outdoor swimming pool on the fourth floor with lounge chairs. Nick's Fishmarket provides fresh seafood and a separate lounge vicinity for drinks. The hotel as well offers free daily continental breakfast, high-speed web access access, and discounts to nearby restaurants and activities. All rooms feature personal bathrooms, little refrigerators, safes, lanais,free high-speed access, Lodgenet films and video games, and air-conditioning. Hairdryers and hot water pots are offered at the front desk.
Children ages 17 and under are free when sharing a room with their parents and use existing bedding; otherwise, extra person charges will apply if occupancy exceeds two persons.
