Bokissa Eco Island is a boutique resort located on its own privately owned island of 175 acres of dense rainforest and has only native flora and fauna. From Port Vila, patrons take a VanAir (part of Air Vanuatu) flight to Santo. The airplane takes one hour and twenty few minutes to fly to Santo. There are generally two flights a day. The entire island and nearby waters of Bokissa are privately owned. Bokissa coral reefs are some the most accessible and undisturbed shallow-water reefs in Vanuatu. Hotel facilities include the 25-meter, freshwater pool, shaded swim-up swimming pool bar, in-house scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaks, health massage center, rainforest walks, bird watching, library, hammocks, tours, restaurant, bar, souvenirs shop, outdoor giant chess board, boles, board games, billiard table, island church, web access facility, double filtered rainwater throughout, and 24-hour power. All rooms feature tea and coffee facilities, mini-fridges, ceiling fans, air-conditioning, desks and chairs, rainwater showers and taps, instant gas hot water, hairdryers, and decks with recliner chairs, hammocks, and gardens. The resort has its own high-tech treatment facility to preserve the surroundings and the quality of the coastal waters and coral reefs. Please note that the resort only accepts bookings for adults and children 12 and over.
