The Wheeler House is a restored classic motel providing peaceful overnight lodging one block off the busy roadway in momentous Manitou Springs, Colorado. We are situated on the north side of the valley with a full view to the south and west of the foothills of Pikes Peak. In addition to our 180 degree mountain view we sit atop a little hill looking over downtown Manitou Spring's individual restaurants, shopping district, and Soda Springs Park. We are the last motel before you get to Pikes Peak Cog Railway and only few minutes from numerous attractions. Our rooms range from accommodating one in a more traditional style surroundings to a family of six in a two bedroom unit. All our units have personal bath, outside entrances and equipped kitchens. Our windows open and there is a fan in every unit. Frequently early morning songbirds can be heard in the distance. We have a centre courtyard with Barbeque grills, picnic tables, and sitting benches. Two pay phones are accessible 24 hours a day near the office; there are no in room phones. Staff will be happy to make attraction and restaurant bookings for you. Protected from the roadway view is an outdoor heated swimming pool ranging from three to nine feet deep. The swimming pool is surrounded near a beautifully sculptured deck with lounge chairs and umbrella tables with mountain views from any position in or out of the pool.

there. the only thing our kitchens do not have are

coffee in the office in the mornings until 10 am. decor
is eclectic combining both old and new. we are a
restored classic motel, no two rooms are exactly alike.

bedroom, double in the second and sofa sleeper in the
living room with kitchen and private bath. kitchens
included stove, oven, refrigerator, toaster, dishes and
cookware. the only two things our kitchens do not have
are microwaves and coffee pots but we do offer
complimentary coffee in the office in the morning. the
kitchens boast a large operational window to the east,
ushering in the morning sun, songs of the birds, and cool
breeze. our decor is eclectic offering a modest blend of
the old and new.
