Built in the year 1380- the Hotel Roter Hahn has served patrons from nearby and far for more than 600 years and is therefore one of the oldest inns in all of Germany. Kings and Princes have lodged here- as well as merchants and commoners. In the year 1905 it was purchased near Johann Scherer and is still in the possession of the proprietor family. warmth has therefore had a long sense of tradition in our establishment. We strive to make our patrons stay in our hotel and in Rothenburg a nice and memorable experience. All who are employed in our hotel- dedicate all of their professional knowledge to the benefit of our guests. For us- private attention and welcoming care are main attributes of hospitality.
