Formerly known as The Pines Course, Panther Trail�� was home to the Houston Open from 1975 through 1983. Originally designed by Von Hagge-Devlin, the course was later redesigned by Roy Case and renamed Panther Trail��. Features of Panther Trail�� include small undulating greens, large greenside and fairway bunkers, gently rolling fairways and tall Carolina Pine trees lining every hole. This course is a shot makers course with accuracy off the tee as well as into the greens being the key to a good round. A unique feature of Panther Trail�� is its vast areas of native grasses, and wildflowers. Panther Trail�� is a great course to challenge anyone's golf game from the beginner to the aspiring golf professional, but beware this kitty will bite! Panther Trail's�� sister course is The Oaks. This great test of golf was redesigned by Jay Morrish & Associates in 1999. Features include large undulating greens that average 4500 sqeet feet of surface area, huge greenside bunkers and generous fairways. It is easy to understand how the course got its name, just look around you at the towering Oak trees. The Oaks offers a test for golfers of all skill levels playing just over 7000 yards from the back tees. The par 4 18th bordering Lake Harrison adds to the natural beauty and challenge of the Oaks. To compliment both of these outstanding courses, we also offer a 2500 sq. ft. full service pro shop stocked with the latest apparel and equipment from the best known names in the golf business.
