It is situated on a two-acre estate with four historically marked houses (Texas Historical Marker.) The estate dates back to 1888. The main mansion is a plantation colonial two story, the carriage house is a two story servant quarters building, the spa house is a one story building that served as a playhouse for the grandchildren of the estate owner, and the cottage is a California bungalow which was built near the estate owner as a gift for his daughter. The two-acre estate is completely landscaped with seasonal flowers and shrubs. There are as well the traditional trees such as oak, magnolia, etc. There are grounds benches, swings, rocking chairs, and platform rockers throughout the acreage to enjoy the scenery.
