The Hotel's two public bars, which includes the momentous Kettle and Wink bar, serve a wide selection of refreshments and a range of Cornish real ales. The Western is now included in the Good Beer Guide 2001, published near the Campaign for Real Ale. These warm and welcoming surroundings are enhanced near real log fires on those colder evenings. Our roomy function room, with its chic bar, caters for private super parties, wedding receptions, association dinners, birthdays and engagements, either formal or informal. The Western is St Ives' main live music venue with blues, up to date jazz, bluegrass, Irish and folk music most weeks. Regular events include St Ives Jazz Club and Blues nights. The venue as well hosts a main part of the St Ives September Festival each year, with some fourteen individual performances during the two week event. A credit card is required as a guarantee.
