There are several lakes in the vicinity that offer guided fishing trips, which includes Lake Seminole which is ranked the fifth best bass-fishing lake in the U.S. The Flint River is situated in Bainbridge, which is a forty minute drive. Water Sports -The vicinity waters provide historical and river tours, wildlife refuges, tours, canoeing and scuba diving. For the sailboat enthusiast there are several day and sunset cruises offered in the Gulf of Mexico.
