Relais Borgo Scopeto is an old medieval village completely restored and brought back to life in the spring of 2005 after 4 years of meticulous restoration. The hotel is composed of 8 individual buildings and surrounded near 5 hectares of gardens. The main entrance and reception vicinity are situated in Il Castello, where 3 floors are accessible near lift. The furniture is a mix of up to date and classic with very relaxing velvet green sofas and a fireplace. Black and white old photographs decorate the bar and give it an old fashion atmosphere. There are three lounges, one that used to be the old entrance of the Castello and an atrium with an outstanding high ceiling glass roof. A gourmet restaurant with genuine vaults and modern decor reminding the strong purple color of the Chianti wine with a capacity of 70 covers for a la carte dining or 120 covers if used for personal functions. The outside terrace has a capacity of 50 covers. The main conference room La Balzana of 180 sqm can accommodate 150 people theatre style. The ceiling is over 3.5 meters and has the benefits of natural light. La Sala Del Caminetto has a capacity of 60 persons for meetings or banquets and a splendid view of Siena. 18 bed rooms and suites are situated on the 2 upper floors. Attached to the main building Il Borgo of usual Tuscan inspiration provides a choice of 20 double rooms and suites looking over the countryside and the town of Siena in the background. Other suites are situated in personal villas such as La Loggia and Il Giardino located in calm gardens. There are as well 2 one-bedroom suites on the first floor of La Cantina. La Villa of usual Florentine style is situated across the courtyard. There are 3 suites and 9 bed rooms in total on three stories with lift.
